Massive Monster wouldn’t be where we are without the support of the people around us - which is why we’re excited to give back through the Massive Monster MONSTER FUND!
An initiative to support game developers through funding, mentorship, and community building, we want to help your game grow from prototype to launch.
The Monster Fund exists because we want to see more fun, unique, juicy games get made in a well-supported, sustainable way. Making games is hard, and we want to help!
Supported by Creative Victoria and VicScreen, the Monster Fund is open to any Vic-based dev with a game ready to pitch.
We’re accepting prototypes and vertical slices - show us what you’ve been working on!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Monster Fund supports the development of new games by providing:

Funding
- We give you money! We’re accepting applications for funding between $50,000 - $2 million AUD.

Mentorship
- We’ll help you turn your game into a pitchable product to either secure a publisher or go down a self publishing route - it’s up to you.
- You’ll receive mentorship and advice from the Massive Monster team
- Meet industry friends, connections, and experts who can help you and your project grow
🤝
Community
- Build community through included membership to the MASS Co-Working space, a place for game developers to work, gather, and support one another
- Receive invites to Monster Friends networking, playtesting, and partying events
HOW TO PITCH
We’re looking for games that are:
- Bursting with personality
- Have a unique selling point and strong player fantasy
- Contain a chunky gameplay loop
- Full of juice (yum)
